To expand our current small and agile team we are looking for a
Remote PHP/Symfony developer (m/f/d)
You will
- design and implement state of the art web applications and APIs for our frontend SPAs
- develop in an agile and test driven way, to always create high quality and beautiful code (TDD/BDD, code reviews)
- work with modern development tools (Git, Jira, Docker etc.), frameworks (Symfony, API Platform, Sylius etc.) and processes (Scrum)
- continuously learn new things, through internal workshops, conferences or open source projects
You have
- a lot of experience with object oriented PHP7/8 and SQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB)
- profound knowledge of Symfony (3-5)
- professional knowledge of modern frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- routine in working with common development tools (e.g. Git, Docker), automated software tests (PHPUnit, Behat etc.) and CI/CD setups (Github Actions)
- a passion for clean and beautiful code
- positive human qualities such as team spirit, empathy, reliability and responsibility
- motivation and curiosity, which help to compensate for any remaining gaps in the aforementioned requirements
You should
